Parkland Heritage and Conservation Walk
Join one of the volunteer rangers for a guided walk through Kedleston’s Historic 18th Centaury Parkland and discover some of the incredible history and wildlife on offer.
While walking at a gentle pace, our guide will share with you some of the historic features found in the park as well as information on how the parkland is currently managed by the ranger team, with a focus on our current projects to improve the park for wildlife.

- This walk will begin at Visitor Reception.
- Outdoor clothing and comfortable footwear recommended as well as refreshments.
- This walk is approximately 4km in length across uneven ground and grassland. Please note that there may not be seating along the way.
- This walk may not be suitable for young children.
- Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
