Summer of Play: Tudor Dance Workshops
Learn Tudor chorography, court etiquette and dance to the thrilling music of court in this Tudor dance workshops. Perfect for kids aged 8 – 14.
Hear ye, hear ye! Join our vibrant Elizabethan dance workshop where kids become courtiers for the day. Rosie and Ruth will bring the royal court to life through movement and music, teaching easy to learn steps like the stately Pavane to the lively Galliard. Children will build co-ordination, explore history and experience the thrilling music of the Tudor Court. No prior dance knowledge is required.
With this dance workshop, learn the basics of court etiquette, exciting chorography, and how to party like a Tudor! This workshop is 3 hours long and will include a break, a snack, and juice box. Please find the session below that best fits your child:
10am – 1pm | For ages 8 – 11-year-olds
2pm – 5pm | For ages 11 – 14-year-olds
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet at East Court, please ask a team member upon arrival at Visitor Reception for directions on where to go. There is about a 5 minute walk from Visitor Reception to the East Court.
- Please bring water/snacks/hat/suncream/raincoat – appropriate outdoor clothing and wear comfortable flat, closed toed shoes such as trainers.
- Accessible parking is at the front of the car park with an accessible W.C, baby change and changing place.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult.
