Garden tours at Saltram
Join one of Saltram's garden team for a walk and talk around the garden, learning about the history and its highlights. You will also get an exclusive look behind the scenes, where there is even more to learn about the garden at Saltram.
Enjoy seasonal highlights of the garden with a tour available to join each month from July through to October - from vibrant summer planting, to rich autumn colour.
Meeting at 11am by the Stables flower bed, approximately 1 hour tour.
Pre-booking is required for this tour, or on-the-day tickets may be possible depending on availability. Tickets are £4 which contributes to fundraising for Saltram. Please note the tour ticket does not include garden entry and a garden admission ticket will need to be purchased upon arrival, or entry is free for National Trust members.
Tours dates on Wednesdays; 15th July, 12th August, 9th September and 7th October.

Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meeting by the Stables bed, which is on your left once your have taken the path from the Welcome Centre into the garden. A 'meeting point' board will be in place as a marker point.
- Dress for the weather as tour is fully outdoors. The tour follows gravelled paths, but may go to other areas that may be muddy, so wear suitable footwear.
- The tour follows gravelled paths that are fairly level and suitable for wheelchairs. There are some slopes in places. The tour is approximately 1 hour and will be walking & standing for duration.
- This tour and content will be aimed and more suited to adults, however children would be welcome to join.
- Dogs are welcome on short leads in the majority of the garden at Saltram, however dogs would not able to join the full garden tour due to one location on the tour route. If you would like to attend the tour with your dog, you are welcome to, however you would need to step away from the tour momentarily whilst the tour continues through the Orange Grove and join again after.
