Batty Bats and Mad Moths
Join us on a family adventure as the sun sets. Over 500 different species of moth and 9 different types of bats can be seen at Sheringham Park. We’ll use a moth trap and a bat detector to see what is flying in the night!
Look for bats with a bat detector and have a go at moth trapping. Going on a nature walk at night is one of the 50 things to do before you're 11 and ¾ !

- Please meet at the main sign near the toilet block.
- Please bring warm clothing, good walking boots/shoes and a torch!
- This event is accessible for all.
- This event is for families - children must be accompanied .
- No dogs please. Some of the activity takes place in the Bower garden which is designated dog free.
