World Ranger Day Walk
Have you ever wondered what our rangers do? Come to Longshaw Friday 31st July and find out more on an early morning walk with our Head Ranger.
Joining our Ranger at the Welcome building they will lead you through the estate pointing out things of interest on the way and explaining some of the tasks our rangers become involved in.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions along the way and maybe see some of our beautiful birds and some of the wildlife.
The walk will last about an hour and will end up back at the café where you can get some well earned refreshments and if you are feeling inspired or still curious, you can join in the fun going on at the Moorland Discovery Centre before you go.

- Please arrive at 9:20 ready for a prompt start at 9:30.
- Wear suitable clothing for the weather and footwear for a reasonable walk.
- The paths reasonably level, but may have some rocky terrain in parts.
- Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
