Christmas wreath making workshop - Townend
Join us in the historic Townend barn to design and create your own natural Christmas wreath to decorate your home this festive season.
Enjoy exclusive access to one of the Lake District's finest examples of a Lakeland bank barn where you'll be using locally gathered greenery to create your own unique festive wreath to take home.
All materials and decorations will be provided allowing you to enjoy a morning of creativity with mince pies and hot drinks provided.
This activity is suitable for those aged 16+ and ideal for people with any level of craft experience.
Both NT members and non-members need to purchase a ticket.

Please note:
- Meet in the courtyard at the front of Townend by 10.15am to check in. You'll be taken across to the barn for the workshop which runs 10.30am - 12 noon.
- The barn is unheated so wrap up warm. The location is a working barn so stout shoes or boots, gloves and a hat and scarf are recommended.
- There is an uneven stone ramp up to the barn and the house has many small, uneven steps, including a step at the entrance. Low light levels inside and uneven floor.
Designated mobility car park spaces and drop-off point. - Not suitable for children due to the use of secateurs to cut greenery and wire.
