Superhero Cape Craft Workshop
Become the hero of your own story! Design and decorate a colourful superhero cape using fabric and felt. Inspired by Wearing Feelings: Children in Black and Bright, this fun workshop celebrates imagination, creativity, and self expression.
Inspired by our current exhibition, Wearing Feelings: Children in Black and Bright, this family workshop invites children to explore how colour, pattern, and materials can communicate identity, emotion, and imagination. Using felt and fabric, participants will design and create their own superhero cape.
This creative, hands on session encourages experimentation with colour, texture, and shape while inspiring children to imagine the unique powers and personalities of their superhero. Suitable for children aged 4 and over, accompanied by an adult.

- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet at the Sharing station - Museum
- There is lift access in the Museum.
- Suitable for ages 4 and up.
- Children to be accompanied by an adult at all times. The accompanying adult doesn't need to purchase a ticket.
