Heritage Open Days: Little legs archaeology walk
Discover the archaeology hidden all around us with these guided walks.
Join us and discover the hidden landscape of our ancestors at Godolphin with these free archaeology walks.
Handle flint arrowheads, explore ancient rituals and discover how to find things left for us to find.
These guided walks will take place on both weekends of Heritage Open Days with a 2pm start, and be approximately 45 -60 minutes long.
These tours will run from Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September.
The walks are approximately 1 mile and might be on stoned paths, or through fields. Ground conditions can be extremely muddy, especially in the Autumn so stout footwear is a must.
Please wear sensible footwear and suitable clothing, and bring your own water/refreshments. Look out for our walking guides at the meeting point.
Dogs on leads are welcome. This event is free.
Walks are subject to cancellation based on adverse weather conditions and volunteer availability.
Please call ahead if you are visiting specifically for this walk.
