Birmingham Heritage Week - Open Day
Step inside the Birmingham Back to Backs for free during Birmingham Heritage Week. Explore the historic courtyard and discover how generations of residents lived and worked in these houses.
We're opening our doors to visitors to explore Court 15 and the back-to-back houses. Our volunteers will be on hand to tell you more about the fascinating history of the houses and the many people who lived and worked here.
You will also be able to explore our ‘From Around Here’, an exhibition showcasing creative responses to the culture, communities and character of Birmingham’s Southside, developed by students from Birmingham City University’s Department of Fashion & Jewellery.
The event is free, but we recommend that you pre-book your space to avoid any disappointment on the day.

- The bookshop has level access, as does the ground floor of the back-to-back houses.
