A Quiet Visit with Father Christmas A neurodivergent-friendly Christmas experience
Father Christmas will be returning to Quarry Bank for a special quiet visit.
Christmas is for everyone, and we’re delighted to offer neurodiverse-friendly sessions to meet Father Christmas.
Join us in the Top Floor Play Space for a special 30-minute session featuring festive activities, the chance to meet Father Christmas and a gift for each child or attendee with a ticket.
These sessions are designed to provide a more relaxed and comfortable experience, while keeping all the magic and joy of Christmas. Fewer guests will attend each session, there will be no music, and fewer staff and volunteers will be present. This relaxed environment will give guests the opportunity to explore and take part in activities at their own pace.
These sessions are open to guests of any age with additional needs.
Please purchase a Father Christmas ticket for each child or attendee who would like to receive a gift.
Non-National Trust members do not need to purchase a Quarry Bank admission ticket to attend this event. However, if you would like to explore the buildings and gardens during your visit, you will need to purchase an admission ticket at Visitor Reception.
Sensory Pick 'n' Mix items are available to borrow from the Mill Entrance if needed.
National Trust admission charges do not apply.

- This event will be hosted in the Top Floor Play Space inside the Mill. Please meet in the Mill Yard near the Mill entrance at least 5 minutes before your entry time.
- This is an indoor event.
- Parking is free and accessible parking is available. The event space is accessible by a lift in the Mill for those who need it. A Place to Change toilet facility can be found in the Mill Yard. A senosry pick 'n' mix is available in the Mill Entrance.
We have included a section during the booking process that allows you to share additional information about the attendee and their needs with us. - Suitable for attendees of all ages
- This is a 30 minute session and you should arrive in the Mill Yard at least 5 minutes before the start time to your session.
- The Weaving Shed Restaurant and the Mill Shop can be accessed without an admission ticket.
