Lightwaves Sandilands
As dusk falls, join a magical trail of light, sound and glowing birds and butterflies. Meet curious characters and help a flock of illuminated birds migrate along the seafront and across the Sandilands site in this enchanting experience for all ages.
Set off on a guided journey accompanied by your very own bird host. As you stroll together, you'll come across poetry, music and sound and encounter glowing birds, butterflies, illuminated artworks and unexpected characters.
Perfect for all ages this is a gentle adventure filled with wonder, music and light.
The experience lasts approximately 45 minutes and covers approximately 1 mile.
Lightwaves was organised by Story Tellers, as part of South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership’s Arts Council England-funded NPO programme.

Please note:

- Please wear warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear. The site can be very dark, so you may also wish to bring a torch to help light your way.
- The experience is accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and buggies. Please contact us if you'd like to hire a tramper for the event.
- All ages welcome, suitable for families.
- If possible, please arrive on foot or consider car sharing.
