Join Dr Ken Neal as we use bat detectors to listen out for echo location songs, and try to spot them as they wake up.
The walk will take place at dusk and will go along uneven ground around the garden. We recommend bringing a torch to help light your way and be sure to wrap up warm.
This event is weather dependant, and there may be a risk of cancellation.

- Please meet in the car park by Visitor Welcome.
- Please wear sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing. As the walk takes place at dusk, we recommend bringing a torch.
- The walk takes place in the garden as night falls, with uneven ground and steeps, so not suited to those with limited mobility.
- Children are welcome accompanied by an adult
