Ilam Park: Tales at Twilight Guided Walk
As the seasons change and the nights draw in, join us to walk the darkening paths of Ilam Park and hear our strange and mysterious tales.
Journey with us into evening, as we walk along the path from Ilam Hall, past the ancient church, along the river and back up the Battlestone path.
We'll introduce you to ghostly spectres, share sinister stories from the long forgotten past and haunting creatures that lurk across the Peak District...
This event, like all our events is open to members of the National Trust and non-members. Money raised goes back into looking after the White Peak.

Please note:
- Please meet at the Stableyard in Ilam Park.
- Wear sturdy shoes and come prepared for a cooler autumnal evening.
- The route taken is along the accessible path. This does include some slopes but no steps.
- Suitable for accompanied children over the age of 10 years.
- So long as your dog is happy to be on a lead, sit and not bark during our tales, we're happy for them to come along.
- Parking charges apply for non NT members (£6 up to 4 hours, £8 all day). Please note our machines only take coins.
