Family tree planting days at Hampton Loade
Join us at Hampton Loade on the Dudmaston Estate for a fun, hands-on family tree planting day. As part of the Community Forest project, delivered in partnership with the Forest of Mercia, you’ll help create new woodland for the future.
Families and community members will learn how to plant young trees so they can thrive, with friendly demonstrations from our team before getting stuck in. Tree whips, guards and all planting materials will be provided, so just bring suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Come along, get involved, enjoy the outdoors and help us grow a greener future together.
It's free to take part but please book a ticket so we know how many people to expect.

- Meet at Hampton Loade car park on the Dudmaston Estate WV15 6HD or What3words ///deserved.punters.noises
- Please wear warm, waterproof clothing, hats and boots. Gloves will be provided. Please bring your own drink and food. Bottled water and a small snack will be provided.
- Please get in touch with us if you have access requirements and we can discuss the suitability of this event.
- Suitable for families with children over 4 years. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the activity.
- There will be a short walk from Hampton Loade car park to the tree planting site. Planting will take place in wet weather but we may need to cancel/reschedule in extreme weather. A portable toilet will be available at the planting site.
