Relaxed October Half Term Storytelling Session (SEND-friendly)
Join us in the Study for a magical storytelling and craft session this October half-term with Fiona, the Calke witch, designed for those with SEND.
Join Fiona the Calke witch for a relaxed, spooky storytelling session this October, followed by Halloween crafts.
This is a relaxed session aimed at children with SEND, neurodivergent children or those who would benefit from a less structured environment. Stories in this session will be sign-supported using Makaton, and Fiona will cater to the needs of those in attendance. Children are welcome to complete their craft during the session or take it home to finish later.
Timings are flexible but we anticipate story reading to last 30 mins, with the rest of the time available for you to create your own wooden Halloween wreath.
All craft materials are included.

Please note:

- Sessions will take place in the Study. Wait at the front door of the house and you will be met by one of the team.

- Suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. The study is on the ground floor of the house and some doorways may be slightly narrow. Wheelchairs are available to borrow inside the house.
- Fun for all the family but most suitable for children aged 4-8.
