Wild Brushes - Brush-Making Workshop
Make and paint with your very own 'wild brush'; a paintbrush made from natural materials.
Working with our Artist in Residence Amanda Warren, use natural materials to make your own unique paintbrush, a souvenir of your visit to Sutton Hoo and a great tool for creative and expressive mark-making.
Using simple techniques and found materials such as sticks, feathers and vegetation, your brush will be a thing of beauty in itself! Give it a trial run using inks to record the special landscape and atmosphere of this beautiful location. All materials will be provided.

Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- After seeing Visitor Welcome for your admission, head onsite past the Ship Sculpture and, just past the second-hand bookshop, turn left and head to The Old Stables.
- Although all inks used are acrylics, it is advisable to wear clothing suitable for a messy art activity.
- Due to the layout of The Old Stables, we regret that this event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
- Suitable for adults.
