Walk the Trust10 route
Join us for a group walk along the 10km Trust10 trail run route, with stunning views from Ballard Down.
The walk will around 9.5km and follow most of the Trust10 trail run. Starting at Knoll Beach, we will head up to Middle Beach, along past Fort Henry to cut across the back of South Beach carpark to Manor Farm. We then head up past the Glebe Estate and continue the ascent to Ballard Down, where we will have stunning views across both Poole Harbour and Swanage Bay.
We head across to Old Harry Rocks, then add in a loop around Warren Woods as we descend back to the road, where we head up to re-join the path to fort Henry and continue back to Knoll Beach.
A reasonable level of fitness is required for this walk and we will be on mixed and uneven terrain, including sand, gravel, grass and potentially muddy areas.
Please bring a water bottle. Toilets are available at Knoll and Middle beach and there are public toilets at the bottom of the path from Old Harry Rocks on the way back.

- Please meet at Knoll Beach Visitor Reception, BH19 3AQ, at the bottom of the driveway.
- The walk takes place on mixed and uneven terrain and includes 3 hills. Accessible toilets are available at Knoll beach and Middle Beach car park and a changing places is available at Knoll Beach.
- Recommended minimum age: 14. U18s accompanied by an adult.
- ANPR parking at Knoll Beach, please remember your car registration when using the parking machine, NT members and blue badge holders park for free. You can download the JustPark app and membership cards can be added in there or please scan your card at a machine on site. All the machine will take contactless payments, coins can be used in the machine nearest visitor reception.
