Ebacorum Baroque Christmas at Oxburgh Estate
Start the festive season with a concert in the atmospheric surroundings of Oxburgh Hall’s chapel with professional singers from Eboracum Baroque.
Journey through centuries of festive music, from the beauty of the medieval world to much-loved Christmas favourites and seasonal music from the present day. The programme will also feature works by the great Elizabethan composer William Byrd, who's music is likely to have been sung at Oxburgh in the 16th century. This promises to be a wonderful evening of music in a beautiful setting. Refreshments will also be available.
Join us during the interval for a festive drink and and mince pies which are included in your ticket price. The rest of the property will be closed as this is an evening event, although the toilets will be open too.
This event takes place in the Chapel, which gets very cold during the winter (it’s always colder than you think). Please bring plenty of warm layers.
Additionally, the path from the car park to the Chapel is unlit, so we would strongly advise bringing a torch with you as well.

- There is complimentary parking for this event. Parking is available from 4:30pm, with gates opening at 5.00pm.
- The chapel is likely to be very cold during the winter, so please bring plenty of warm layers, as there is no heating.
- This event takes place within the Chapel at Oxburgh Hall. The route to the chapel is a flat gravelled surface, 200 meters away from the main visitor carpark. Toilet facilities (including an accessible toilet) and the tea-room is approximately 100 meters away from the chapel. Access is along a flat gravelled path and a stone floor.
- Suggested audience age 12 and above.
- There will be light refreshments available during the interval from the tea-room.
