October Half Term: Children's Baking Workshop (Age 5-12)
Do you have a budding baker aged 5-12? Join us this Black History Month to learn about Olympic history and make your own ‘Olympic Gold Cookie’ during half term.
Join us this Black History Month for a fun and educational baking workshop for children aged 5-12.
Children will learn about the inspiring story of Olympic athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos and their iconic Black Power Salute, before making and baking their own ‘Olympic Gold Cookies’ to take home and enjoy.
Suitable for children aged 5-12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets cost £3 per child or £5 for two children and must be purchased in advance.
Children will be able to take home the cookies they make once they have been baked. Please note that the recipe contains gluten, eggs, dairy and walnuts, so it will not be suitable for all dietary requirements.
A health declaration screening will be carried out on arrival to help keep everyone safe. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or may have a contagious health condition.
