Speaker Series - History of Aberdulais Falls
Join us on 5 November for our Speaker Series session with Aberdulais Tour Guide Volunteers, Ian Govier and Daron Herbert, as they delve deeper into the history of Aberdulais Tinworks and Waterfall.
On the last Thursday of every month, join us at Aberdulais for our Speaker Series to listen, learn and discover something new, with guest speakers sharing their knowledge and experiences on a variety of fascinating topics.
This month, Aberdulais Tour Guide Volunteers, Ian Govier and Daron Herbert, will explore the history of Aberdulais in a talk at the Old Works Library before taking attendees on an in-depth guided tour of the site.

Please note:
- Please join us in our second-hand bookshop at Aberdulais by 10.30am. As you come through the site gates, the bookshop is the building immediately on your left. Enter through the first set of doors.
- Feel free to bring along snacks to enjoy, there will be tea & coffee available.
- Please wear comfortable walking shoes, as the tour will take place around the site.
- The bookshop, toilets and lower-level of the site are wheelchair accessible. The tour will include a visit to the top of the site, which is not normally accessible to visitors. Access to this area is via stairs only. If you cannot join this part of the tour, our guides will ensure you still have the opportunity to learn more about this area.
- Tickets will be available until 8am on the morning of the event. If spaces are still available, walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
