Speaker Series – Mining through the Ages with Colin Lewis
On the last Thursday of every month, join us at Aberdulais Falls for our Speaker Series to listen, learn and discover something new with a range of guest speakers sharing their knowledge and experiences on a variety of fascinating topics.
Step back in time with Colin Lewis and discover the rich heritage of South Wales mining. Drawing on his own experiences of growing up in a bustling mining community and later entering the industry himself, Colin will offer a unique perspective on the challenges, camaraderie and culture that defined mining life.

Please note:
- Please join us in our second-hand bookshop at Aberdulais by 10.30am. As you come through the site gates, the bookshop is the building immediately on your left. Enter through the first set of doors.
- Feel free to bring along snacks to enjoy, there will be tea & coffee available.
- The bookshop, toilets and wider site are wheelchair accessible.
- Tickets will be available until 8am on the morning of the event. If spaces are still available, walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
