Terracotta Highland Cow Workshop
Join local artist Helen McCormick and create your own stunning terracotta Highland cow sculpture.
This workshop is designed to be a relaxed, friendly space where you can meet new people and create a stunning terracotta Highland cow sculpture.
During this full day workshop, you will learn how to hand-build your highland cow sculpture using traditional techniques.
No prior experience is necessary-Helen will guide you step-by-step through the entire process.
Tickets £95 per person including:
All material and equipment, tea and coffee, professional kiln firing of your finished piece, light lunch provided by Killerton (please note any allergies/dietary requirements), and parking.
After the workshop, Helen will carefully take your sculpture home and fire it in her kiln. These sculptures are not glazed as the terracotta will age beautifully in your garden over time. Your sculpture will be ready to collect approximately 6 weeks after the workshop. We will let you know the date and time.
Please bring an apron and old clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty.
Workshop places are limited so booking is essential.
A National Trust membership is not needed to take part in this workshop. If you would like to explore Killerton after the workshop, normal admission fees will apply.
