Treasure ship 1527: A talk with Nicholas St Aubyn

Join author and exhibition curator Nicholas St Aubyn as he delves into the mystery of Cornwall's richest wreck, the St Anthony.

Exhibition curator Nicholas St Aubyn describes his personal quest to uncover the mystery surrounding the St Anthony. The epic struggle over its cargo pitted local Cornishmen into the vortex of a power struggle between three of the most powerful kings in Europe, at a turning point in English history.

At the same time, the courtier sent to investigate the matter fell in love with the sister of one of the accused...

The talk will take place within the Kings Room, surrounded by the Treasure ship 1527 exhibition.
